
10.20 Seconds Sprint Shatters Old Record
Punjab sprinter Gurindervir Singh created a new national record in the men's 100 meters, achieving 10.20 seconds in the Indian Grand Prix-1 Athletics Championship on Friday. Through this achievement, he broke the old record of 10.23 seconds held by Manikant Hoblidhar in 2023.
Career-Best Performance
Gurindervir, who had set a personal best of 10.27 seconds in 2021, brought his timing even better to set a new national standard. Although there was stiff competition from Manikant Hoblidhar, Gurindervir took the top position slightly ahead.
