Gujarat Titans Star Finds Himself More Focused in IPL 2025
Jos Buttler, who is currently representing Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025, talked about the relief he has been experiencing mentally after voluntarily relinquishing the duties of England's white-ball captain. According to Buttler, the absence of the pressure of being a leader has made it easier for him to focus more on his individual performance.
“There’s a clear sense of calm now,” he shared. “As captain, it’s tough when results don’t go your way. You invest a lot of energy into trying to fix things. Now, with that weight off, I can focus solely on my batting.”
Buttler’s decision to resign came last month following England’s disappointing exit from the Champions Trophy. With that chapter closed, he seems to be enjoying his cricket again in the IPL environment.
