Ayush made his Mumbai debut in the 2024 Vijay Hazare Trophy and made a significant contribution by scoring 78 runs in his maiden match against Karnataka. He further impressed with 181 runs against Nagaland and 148 runs against Saurashtra. He also made his Ranji Trophy debut in January 2025 against Meghalaya. Although he performed well, no team expressed interest in him during the mega auction. Chennai later acquired him for the base price of Rs. 30 lakhs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have recruited 21-year-old Ravichandran Samaran in their ranks as an injury cover for the leg-spinner Adam Zampa, who has got injured. Born in Karnataka, Ravichandran is a left-handed batsman. He was bought for the base price of Rs. 30 lakhs.
Ravichandran has appeared in 7 first-class matches and has made 516 runs with an impressive average of 64.50. In T20s, he has made 170 runs in six matches.
