KTR Backs Attempt to Bring Formula E Race to Telangana
The then minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) said the Formula E race was brought to Telangana through huge efforts to enhance the global reputation of the city Hyderabad and Telangana's brand image. Speaking in the context of his appearance before the ACB inquiry regarding the Formula E race case, KTR addressed the matter in a post on the social media platform 'X'.
Formula E As The Growth Catalyst For E-Mobility
We are to execute the Formula E race with an intention of establishing Hyderabad as a global hub for the EV sector, said KTR. He added that this initiative aimed at the creation of jobs besides promoting investment in innovation, research, and the manufacturing sector within Telangana Mobility Valley.
The event has been a great success, where during E-Mobility Week, it bagged investments amounting to Rs. 12,000 crore to further solidify Telangana's leadership status in the EV domain.
Political opposition criticism
KTR condemned the opposition for not understanding the bigger picture of such moves and termed them "small-minded leaders indulging in filthy politics". However, he remained optimistic about the Telangana people, who he said knew the government's vision and the truth behind the policies.
"Truth and justice will always triumph," KTR concluded.
