A Landmark Decision in the Union Budget

Union Minister Rammohan Naidu described the decision to give income tax exemption up to ₹12 lakh in the Union Budget as historic. He emphasized that such a move has never been implemented before and will primarily benefit the middle class. He urged people across all political parties to support this initiative. Naidu made these remarks during a media conference organized by the Andhra Pradesh coalition MPs on the budget.

Telugu pride finds a place in Budget Speech

Citing Gurajada Apparao's great quote, "The country is not soil, the country is people," Rammohan Naidu mentioned that there was much cause for all to be proud, including all of them Telugus, on such words the finance minister commenced her budget speech with the statement. Extension of Jal Jeevan Mission Till 2028

Rammohan Naidu said that the CM Chandrababu Naidu had requested to extend the Jal Jeevan Mission as it is reaching its close. The scheme has been further extended till 2028. The Union Budget announced that this scheme would run till 2028. According to him, this extension of the scheme will ensure clean drinking water for all households in the state.

Criticism of the Previous Government

Criticizing the earlier government, he pointed out that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, a sanctioned amount of ₹15,000 crore went waste. MSMEs and Its Benefits The current budget is a focus for the MSME sector, thereby promoting the Andhra Pradesh economy.

Extension of the UDAN Scheme

UDAN Scheme Extension Thanking Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Naidu was glad for extending the UDAN scheme further by another 10 years as the scheme increases the regional air connectivity.
