The Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the Union Budget 2025-26 in the Parliament. Crisp funds for some of the crucial projects in Andhra Pradesh have been instituted. - Balance grant for the construction of Polavaram - Rs.12,157 crores
- Visakhapatnam Steel Plant - Rs.3,295 crores
- Visakhapatnam Port - Rs.730 crore
- Strengthening health systems in the state - Rs.162 crore
- Zero Budget Natural Farming in the state - Rs.186 crore
- Learning Transformation Operation - Rs.375 crore
- Construction of roads and bridges in the state - Rs.240 crore
- AP Irrigation and Livelihood Improvement Project - Rs.242.50 crore for the second phase
These represent the commitment of the government toward infrastructural development, agriculture, health, and education in Andhra Pradesh. Such an allocation is likely to promote the state's economic growth and public welfare.
