Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has come down heavily on the Union Budget presented after the NDA government secured its third consecutive term. Expressing his dissatisfaction, he called the budget "Band-Aid treatment for bullet wounds."

Rahul Gandhi, posting his views on the social media platform 'X' (formerly Twitter), said, "The world situation is still unclear. Now, in this hour, India needs a paradigm shift to overcome its economic crisis. However, the central government does not have a vision. This budget is just a Band-Aid for deep wounds."
