US Former President Donald Trump has come under fire, announcing a plan to capture Gaza. This is after he met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over the Israel-Gaza conflict.

Donald Trump's dream for Gaza

According to Donald Trump, the US will take over Gaza and command reconstruction.

"The United States will take over Gaza. We will rebuild the destroyed infrastructure. If we invest in the region's economy, we can create unlimited job opportunities and provide housing for the people," Trump noted.

Netanyahu is said to consider the said statement of President Trump as another historical turning point.

Arab Nations Reject Trump's Proposal

Recently, Trump reportedly told Arab nations to take care of the displaced Palestinians. That suggestion was harshly rejected by many countries in the region such as Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Palestinian Authority, with the rejection from the League of Arab also. In such a scenario, the latest move by Trump which he said will seize and make Gaza has started gaining attention.

Hamas strongly condemned the remarks by Trump. A senior Hamas official, Sami Abu Zuhri, accused Trump of trying to incite chaos in the region.

"Trump's statement is designed to create instability and provoke tensions. Our people will not accept this. This aggression must be stopped," Zuhri said.

The declaration by Trump has set the world talking, with mixed reactions from political leaders and international organizations.
