Andhra Pradesh has gone back by 20 years, said Andhra Pradesh Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu, attacking the state's governance under Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. According to him, industrialists are afraid of investing in the state because of the leadership of Jagan, infamous on an international level.

Ministers Nimmala Ramanaidu and Kandula Durgesh met with alliance leaders in Nidadavolu, East Godavari district, on the MLC elections. At a media conference later, Nimmala appealed to alliance leaders to join hands for the win of graduate MLC candidate Perabathula Rajasekhar from the joint Godavari districts.

Jagan's Leadership Hindering Investments and Development

  • According to Ramanaidu, the industrialists do not like to invest in Andhra Pradesh until they get assurance that Jagan will not return to power.
  • He described Jagan as the worst Chief Minister in the 75 years of independent India.

Achievements of the Coalition Government

  • The coalition government released Rs. 800 crore of fee reimbursement arrears which was withheld by the Jagan government.
  • Remedial measures are being undertaken at the Polavaram project as it has faced setbacks during the previous rule, and compensation of Rs. 1000 crore has been already given to the displaced people.
  • The amount of Rs.1640 crore in grain dues settled which was accused the Jagan's government of not disbursing.
  • The coalition is looking forward to the generation of 20 lakh jobs to increase employment in the state.
