Telangana CM Rewards Young Cricket Star
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy felicitated Indian women's cricketer Gongadi Trisha for her brilliant performance in the ICC Under-19 T20 World Cup. He congratulated Trisha in a meeting and declared that he is offering a reward of ₹1 crore to her on behalf of the state.
Other Team Members Also Rewarded
Apart from Trisha, Dhruti Kesari, another one who was an Under-19 World Cup team member, along with the head coach Nausheen and trainer Shalini, were granted honours. Each of them was given a grant of ₹10 lakh by the Telangana government.
Trisha's Key Role in India's Victory
Trisha has been all-round during the T20 World Cup tournament and contributed significantly towards Team India's success. CM Revanth Reddy who felicitated Trisha wished her all the best for further success in Indian cricket.
