How to Train Your Dragon 4 is an upcoming American fantasy film that is written, co-produced, and directed by Dean DeBlois. It is a remake from live action that revolves around DreamWorks Animation's 2010 animated film with the same name, loosely based on the 2003 novel by Cressida Cowell. The film stars Mason Thames, Nico Parker, Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, Gabriel Howell, Bronwyn James, Harry Trevaldwyn, Ruth Codd, Peter Serafinowicz, and Murray McArthur. Gerard Butler reprising as Stoick the Vast from the animated films. It is the first live-action production from DreamWorks Animation and the first remake of any DreamWorks Animation production.

In February 2023, it was announced that How to Train Your Dragon is being remade live-action. DeBlois will write, direct, and produce the movie, after he worked on the animated trilogy earlier. The film will feature original trilogy composer John Powell returning for the film. Thames and Parker joined the series in May 2023. Other castings are confirmed in January 2024. Shooting was done later in May in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

How to Train Your Dragon 4 is from DreamWorks Animation and Marc Platt Productions. It is released in theaters and distributed in the United States by Universal Pictures on June 13, 2025.
