Thug Life is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language gangster action drama film. This movie is written and directed by Mani Ratnam, with Kamal Haasan as co-author. This film is jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies and Red Giant Movies. It stars Haasan in addition to Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, Nassar, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf and Vaiyapuri. It means the comeback of Haasan and Ratnam after their successful Nayakan, back in 1987.

It was confirmed to be coming into production with a tentative title in November 2022. This is indeed his 234th film. It was almost a year before they revealed an official title to this film. It began with its principal photography starting from January 2024, and shooting in various parts of Chennai, Kanchipuram, Pondicherry, New Delhi, and parts of North India. The film has A. R. Rahman composed for its soundtrack, Ravi K. Chandran handling cinematography and A. Sreekar Prasad on editing duties.
Thug Life is slated for release across theatres in international markets on 5 June 2025.
