
Deputy Chief Minister's Absence Explained
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan did not come to the Chief Minister's conference on agriculture at the State Secretariat since he was not feeling well. at his place, ministers and secretaries were busy tracking the progress of the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development sectors.
Before the program, Nadendla Manohar had started by informing the attendees that Pawan Kalyan was suffering severe back pain for the last two weeks. Nadendla Manohar also stated he was in a critical condition when told that Kalyan willl not be present for the meeting but the health issue is going to be fixed within two or three days.
There were two messages on the call, one from Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who was worried about his deputy's health, and the second one from TDP's president, Dr. P. Ramayya, who had made an attempt to reach Pawan Kalyan, but he failed. He asked about Kalyan's welfare, Nadendla Manohar replied that he was still ill.
Meeting Arrangement and Time Management
The only persons who took part in the meeting were special chief secretaries, principal secretaries, and department secretaries. In the arranged places of the officials, each department's secretary was placed next to the corresponding minister.
The presentation of the secretaries was done using PowerPoint slides. Furthermore, a time was placed under the slide so that the session was managed and on time the speaker was helped. It worked perfectly as the timer started at the beginning of each presentation, which prevented overruns and reminded officials to stick to their time schedules. Even after the measures were in place, the presentations did not finish within the required time frame.
