Chandrababu Reviews Budget Proposals: 'Super Six' Schemes To Launch This Year

The Andhra Pradesh government has scheduled the annual budget for the 2025-26 financial year which it is planning to present on February 28 in both the houses of the legislature. Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Chief Minister of the state, tried the budget's nuts and bolts leaning at his Undavalli residence ahead of the assembly sessions, February 24. The Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav and other senior officials were present at the meeting.

The focus of the session lay with the allocation of budget funds to the ‘Super Six’ schemes which have been confirmed for this year. Besides the welfare programs like ‘Talliki Vandanam’, and the ‘Annadata Sukhibhav’, and ‘Free Bus Travel for Women’, several others are the new initiatives meant to come up this year. In such a situation, balancing the new budget proposals and the already planned and running development projects is the main challenge that the government faces. The CM Chandrababu in the review, reportedly, gave orders to officials on the way forward on dealing with the hurdles making the projects run smoothly and without glitches.
