CM Chandrababu Naidu: Anarchy Continues Even After Power Loss

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has criticized the YSRCP leadership, stating that their anarchy continues even after losing power. He warned that political cover cannot protect unlawful activities. Addressing key TDP leaders at the party's central office in Mangalagiri on Friday, he condemned the atrocities against Dalits and accused YSRCP of persisting with such actions.

During the meeting, discussions covered multiple issues, including:

  • Strategies for the teachers' and graduates' MLC elections
  • Welfare of party workers
  • Removal of illegal cases filed by the previous government
  • Clearing pending bills
  • Challenges in processing insurance claims for party members

Naidu emphasized the importance of securing alliance candidates' victories in the graduates' MLC elections and urged party members to be well-prepared.

Crackdown on Crime and Corruption

Chandrababu Naidu strongly condemned the alleged wrongdoings under YSRCP rule, including:

  • Drug trafficking, violence, and corruption
  • Harassment of Dalits, including Dr. Sudhakar and Driver Subramaniam
  • The alleged abduction of Satyavardhan, a Dalit community member, and coercion to give false testimony

He assured that those responsible will be held accountable by law.

MLC Elections: A Crucial Battle

With elections approaching for the Pattabhadru MLC seats, Naidu outlined the strategy, directing MLAs and MLCs from Guntur, Krishna, East Godavari, and West Godavari districts to prioritize the Governor’s speech. He insisted that:

  • Assembly functions and pre-election training are unnecessary
  • Winning these elections is of utmost importance
  • Alliance candidates Alapati Rajendra Prasad and Perabathula Rajasekhar must be supported
  • Coordinated meetings with leaders of the three-party alliance should be organized

Financial Aid for Party Members

One of the main problems the activists were facing was the absence of insurance coverage. The meeting then communicated to Naidu about the new members who died in fatal accidents in November and December which were not under the insurance policy. Consequently, he ordered the party to supply the affected families with the financial help required.

Three-Member Committee for MLC Elections

The 3-member committee has been formed in which Visakha MP Bharat, MLC Vepada Chiranjeevi Rao, and former MLC AS Ramakrishna are serving as members. These elected persons' duties consist of:

  • Assessing whether to support APTF (257)
  • Reporting recommendations to the party high command

TDP Andhra Pradesh President Palla Srinivasa Rao, Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu, MLC Ashok Babu, and other significant leaders of the party were also present in the meeting.
