TDP leader and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu made a warm gesture on his way back from the ITCX-2025 conference at Tirupati. He was on the move when he noticed an old man with white hair waiting on Mangalam Road and instructed his driver to halt the vehicle immediately.
Rolling down the car window, Naidu greeted the man warmly with, "What is it, Basha? Are you alright? Are you healthy?" The gesture moved SA Aziz Basha, an elderly TDP worker from Seshachalanagar near Mangalam, deeply.
Describing his emotions, Basha added, "I have known Chandrababu for 40 years. Even when I went to see him, I was kept away due to security. But he noticed me and smiled at me. This is a lifetime experience."
This dialogue also demonstrates Naidu's familiarity with his loyal supporters and his capacity to remember and reward loyal party workers.
