Jagan’s Rule Damaged the System
Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar has vowed action against those who troubled Jana Sena activists in the past. He accused the previous YSRCP government of misusing power to protect its assets while suppressing opposition leaders through false cases and arrests.
Speaking at an event held at Seshasai Kalyana Vedika in Vijayawada, he stated, “During Jagan’s rule, all systems were destroyed. They used power to safeguard their interests and targeted Jana Sena women with obscene social media posts. Now that we are in power, we will not spare those who deliberately harassed us. This is not about factional politics, but justice. Even if it takes time, they will receive a strong message.”
Jana Sena’s Stand on Political Criticism
The event was organized to support Alapati Rajendra Prasad, the MLC candidate for the joint Krishna and Guntur districts. Addressing party members, Nadendla Manohar conveyed Pawan Kalyan’s message, advising party leaders to avoid personal attacks in politics. He urged Jana Sena activists to work in coordination with TDP and BJP leaders to ensure smooth governance under the coalition government.
“We should collaborate in the MLC elections and secure Alapati’s victory. He had aspired for the Tenali assembly seat, but despite not getting it, he dedicated himself to the party’s success,” he added.
Alliance Leaders on Restoring Democracy
Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh emphasized that the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance was formed to safeguard democratic values. He called on supporters to ensure Alapati’s victory in the elections.
MLC Ashok Babu reminded attendees of how former YSRCP ministers Kodali Nani and Botsa Satyanarayana resorted to intimidation in the Legislative Council to pass the three capitals bill.
Avanigadda MLA Mandali Buddha Prasad expressed concerns over the declining ethical standards in Krishna district politics over the past five years. He and other alliance leaders pledged to restore integrity and respect in political affairs.
The event saw participation from Jana Sena NTR district president Samineni Udayabhanu, former MLA Kilaru Rosaiah, and district coordinators Ammisetti Vasu, Bandreddy Ramakrishna, and Gade Venkateswara Rao, among others.
