Popular playback singer Shreya Ghoshal has formally postponed her planned concert in Surat, scheduled for this evening. The move comes on the heels of growing prudence among public personalities following the Pahalgam attack.
Refunds to Ticket Buyers Assured
The organizers stated that refunds against tickets will be issued to all the people who had bought passes. In a joint statement, they made it clear:
"Given the Pahalgam incident and ongoing security issues, the Surat event has been canceled. We thank everyone for their understanding."
'All Hearts Tour' Schedule Revised
Shreya Ghoshal is touring currently under the 'All Hearts Tour' title. Earlier performances were conducted in Chennai (March 1) and Coimbatore (March 15). The Surat concert is canceled now, but the Mumbai show is still scheduled on May 10.
Other Artists Impacted: Anirudh Ravichander's Tour Revised
Famed music composer and artiste Anirudh Ravichander is also on tour across the world under the banner 'Hukum'. Tickets for his Bengaluru concert on May 31 got sold out in one hour. Owing to huge demand, the management arranged for another concert on June 1. But ticket sales on the second date are also now put on hold in the wake of the increased security scenario. Fresh sale dates will shortly be announced.
