Mansoor Ali Khan and Trisha Controversy

Mansoor Ali Khan, who is well-known for playing evil characters in Tamil films, appeared before the police on Thursday to answer to charges that he made offensive and defamatory remarks against Trisha. Before the All Ladies Police headquarters in Thousand Lights, Chennai, Mansoor presented himself and asked for a request related to the case. Due to an unclear video that the performer posted online, the Public Commission for Ladies had raised a police protest against him.

Mansoor expressed concern in the video over room sequences in the highly anticipated film Leo, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and had Trisha as a co-star with actor Vijay in the lead role.

"I assumed there would be a room scene in the movie when I first learned I was starring alongside Trisha. "I assumed I would introduce her to the audience in a similar manner to how I did with other performers in my earlier films," Mansoor had remarked. He went on, "I've done a lot of attack scenes, so I'm not new to it. However, during the Kashmiri shoot, these people failed to show me Trisha on the sets."

Trisha criticised Mansoor's remarks when the video went viral online, and the NCW requested that the Tamil Nadu police take action against him. After that, charges were filed against him under parts 354 (strike humility) and 509 (say anything, gesture, or do something that would be anticipated to shock a lady's unobtrusiveness). Mansoor released a video earlier in the day to clarify that he did not run away when the police rounded him up to appear today. He stated he will go before the police at night.

In an effort to seek justice for the recent remarks made about actress Trisha by performer Mansoor Ali Khan, the National Commission for Ladies tweeted a support message for the actress. Many people were aware of the meeting footage that was circulating the internet thanks to Trisha's post. It was a snippet of a meeting that Mansoor Ali Khan gave to a news outlet, in which he talks about wanting to record a pornographic scene with Trisha for their next movie LEO. The claims stated in the video were quite alarming and derogatory.

Together with Trisha, the NCW took a risk and promised that action would be taken against the performer. Trisha remained resolute, not only for herself but for everyone who was subjected to such demeaning remarks.
