Pawan Kalyan Maintains Balance between Politics and Films
Pawan Kalyan, who is the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at present, is also engaged in the film industry. In recent times, there has been much speculation among his fans about his future in cinema—whether he will continue acting or take up several projects. To clarify these doubts, Pawan Kalyan spoke about it in a recent interview with Tamil media.
Working as His Main Source of Income
In the interview, Pawan Kalyan reiterated that acting in films is his only source of income. He said that he ventured into politics for public service and not for money.
"I take inspiration from yogis and siddhis. My political life is guided by selfless service to the people. I have never accumulated wealth or invested in industries. I am not engaged in film production activities as well. My income is from acting. So long as I require financial security, I will act. But my film life will not get in the way of my administrative duties," Pawan made it clear.
Pawan Kalyan's Current Film Projects
Now, Pawan Kalyan has several movie projects in his kitty. He will be featuring in Hari Hara Veera Mallu under Krish Jagarla Muddi and Jyothi Krishna's direction. The film, which has a 17th-century setting, features Pawan as an era warrior and work on its dubbed version is resumed recently.
Besides, he has two more movies: Sujeeth-directed OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh by Harish Shankar.
Pawan Kalyan's comment assures his fans that he will keep working as an actor without letting his political obligations take a hit.
