Royal Enfield's Robust Sales Performance
Royal Enfield, a prominent two-wheeler maker, recorded a major sales milestone by selling 1,01,021 units in March. This is a 34% increase from 75,551 units sold in the same month last year. According to a statement, 88,050 units were sold within the home market while 12,971 units were exported.
Exceeding 10 Lakh Sales Milestone
The firm declared that it had exceeded the 10 lakh sales figure in the previous financial year. During FY 2023-24, Royal Enfield reported sales of 9,12,732 units, while the overall vehicle sales stood at 10,09,900 units as of March 2025, showing a growth of 11%. B Govindarajan, the Managing Director, was pleased over this development, crediting the sales increase due to the inauguration of a production facility in Thailand and entry into the Bangladesh market.
Ola Electric's Excellent Sales Performance
Similarly, Ola Electric, a leading electric two-wheeler company, also posted excellent sales in March. As per Vahan data, 23,430 Ola Electric vehicles were sold in the month. The company attributed increased demand in urban as well as rural areas to this jump.
On the contrary, February sales were affected as a result of issues with the in-house registration process. Nonetheless, Ola Electric started deliveries of its Gen3 vehicles in March. The company also announced that production will be scaled up from April to cater to increasing demand and provide faster deliveries.
