Rajinikanth is well known for his simplicity even though he is a high-level superstar. Unlike most actors, he does not use makeup off the screen. Recently, Bollywood actor Mukesh Khanna appreciated this quality in an interview, praising Rajinikanth's humility.
"Rajinikanth is much more real than the bulk of Bollywood stars. Even though he is extremely popular, he doesn't try to be 'star' like off-camera. He doesn't wear make-up or even a wig while going out. He meets fans like an ordinary individual, not as a star. No Bollywood actor can beat Rajinikanth in this regard. In Mumbai, it's simply not possible for a star to venture out without make-up. He is a genuine superstar. I have never met him in person, though," Mukesh Khanna said.
