Mega DSC Notification In First Week Of April: CM Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu informed that the Mega DSC notification will be issued in the first week of April. He instructed officials to make postings prior to schools opening. The information was shared while chairing a meeting with district collectors.

Criticism of Previous Administration

CM Chandrababu berated the then YSRCP government, affirming that they had done terrible damage to the state's growth. He maintained that the previous administration had been rejected by people and the government was given a massive mandate by people to strengthen Andhra Pradesh.

"Welfare, development, and good governance are our commitments. The Mega DSC notification will be out in the first week of next month, and appointments have to be made before schools open in June," he said.

Thalliki Vandanam Scheme to Start in May

The CM also declared opening the Thalliki Vandanam​ Scheme in May. According to this scheme, financial support of ₹15,000 per child will be given to families. The government has planned releasing funds before schools reopen so that students will have educational support.

Polavaram and Amaravati Projects to Resume

Regarding infrastructure development, CM Chandrababu informed that the Polavaram project, which stalled, would be resurrected. Further, he confirmed the government's intention to complete the Amaravati capital project by 2027. Finance would be raised through World Bank, ADB, and land monetization plans.

Swarnandhra 2047 Vision for Economic Growth

The Chief Minister re-stressed the Swarnandhra 2047 Vision on the basis of ten guiding principles. He called upon officials to see that plans for development reach all levels, ranging from the state to the village secretariats. He also announced a goal of 15%+ GSDP growth in the next year with emphasis on industries, agriculture, and food processing sectors.

District collectors were directed to strive to increase per capita income and efficient governance.
