The market for AI chatbots is extremely competitive with players rolling out new models and features to win more customers. In a bid to consolidate its role, Grok AI has teamed up with Telegram in what is a strategic move in the AI battle. On X, Grok AI revealed that its chatbot services are now offered on Telegram, but there is a twist—they come with a premium tag.

Telegram's Legal Issues
Telegrams has also been undergoing legal issues ever since August 2024. The company's CEO and creator, Pavel Durov, was arrested based on charges like hawala fraud, the distribution of illegal drugs, as well as dissemination of child exploitation content through Telegram. Ever since then, the company has experienced consistent issues.
As other platforms are making strides in AI, others are losing subscribers for not implementing AI technology. With the move to Telegram, Grok AI seems to be capitalizing on this deficiency in order to gain more subscribers.
