Musk Announces X’s Sale to xAI
Billionaire businessman Elon Musk made a historic choice about social media site 'X'. Musk authenticated through a X post that the site was sold. Nevertheless, rather than selling to other firms, Musk passed on possession of the company to his very own artificial intelligence (AI) venture, xAI. Musk agreed to the deal for $33 billion.
xAI’s Growing Valuation and AI Integration
xAI, the AI company led by Musk, was recently valued at $80 billion. Musk highlighted that integrating xAI’s advanced AI capabilities with X will deliver optimal results. His vision is to enhance X by leveraging AI-driven technologies.
Musk’s Expanding Influence
In addition to operating Tesla and SpaceX, Musk is also a counselor to former U.S. President Donald Trump. He first bought Twitter in 2022 for $44 billion and then rebranded it as X. Following the acquisition, the company faced international criticism over layoffs and content moderation.
The Future of X and xAI
Musk founded xAI last year to compete with ChatGPT and other AI models. He emphasized that the futures of xAI and X are deeply connected. “We are leading efforts to integrate AI-driven data models for improved outcomes. xAI’s cutting-edge technology will enhance X’s capabilities and provide a unique experience for millions of users,” Musk stated.
