Blinkit Increases Quick Commerce Options
Quick commerce businesses are expanding their offerings beyond food. Starting with staples, they expanded to send mobile phones and small electronics in 10 minutes. Now, Blinkit, a quick commerce platform owned by Zomato, has taken another big leap. The company has launched 10-minute air conditioner (AC) deliveries to cater to increasing summer demand.
Partnership with Lloyd for Fast AC Deliveries
To enable quick AC deliveries, Blinkit has collaborated with top AC brand Lloyd. As per Blinkit CEO Albinder Dindsa, some of Lloyd AC models will now be delivered within 10 minutes. This facility is currently live in Delhi-NCR and will soon be extended to other cities.
Installation Within 24 Hours
Apart from quick delivery, Blinkit also promised customers that AC installation would be done within 24 hours of receiving their shipment. A special installation team will take care to install the unit at the customer's desired location without delay.
This move is another milestone for quick commerce, delivering high-value appliances to customers quicker than ever before.
