Donald Trump Announces Tariffs On All Countries Worldwide

Washington, D.C. – U.S. President Donald Trump has declared that tariffs will be imposed on all nations across the globe. Speaking to the media aboard the presidential plane on Sunday, he stated, "We will see what happens next."

His announcement holds significant weight, especially as tariffs on India and China are set to take effect on April 2. Trump has labeled this date as "Liberation Day" for the United States.

No Exceptions for Any Country

Addressing speculation, Trump dismissed claims that the tariffs would target only a limited number of nations. "Do not believe the rumors that we are imposing tariffs on just 10 or 15 countries. This applies to all nations—there will be no exceptions," he clarified.

However, he expressed a willingness to adopt a more positive approach toward countries that lift their tariffs on the United States.

Trump Accuses Other Countries of Exploiting the U.S.

Trump criticized the long-standing trade policies of foreign nations, claiming that America had been treated unfairly. "For years, we have been generous with other countries, but they have exploited America like no nation in history has ever been exploited," he said.

He also pointed out that even U.S. allies had implemented stricter trade policies against America than some of its adversaries. "The tariffs we are introducing are much lower than what other nations have imposed on us for decades under various names," he added.

India's Response to U.S. Tariffs

In response to the upcoming tariff measures, India is reportedly considering reducing tariffs on U.S. imports to avoid retaliatory action after April 2.
