Elon Musk Apparently Offered $15 Million To Silence Paternity, Says Author Ashley St Clair

Author Ashley St Clair Says Elon Musk Tried to Shut Her Up About Child's Paternity

Writer Ashley St Clair has claimed that Elon Musk paid her $15 million to silence her about his fatherhood of her child. In a television interview to an international news network, St Clair alleged Musk asked her not to mention that he was the father.

St Clair recently revealed that she had given birth a few months prior and had named Musk as the father. She explained that the reason for keeping quiet in the first place was to preserve her child's privacy and security. She decided to speak, though, when media outlets started investigating the situation.

Alleged Offer and Legal Proposal

St Clair reports that Musk did not want the world to know of their relationship. She explained he paid her $15 million if she agreed not to say anything about the affair and paternity. He apparently asked her to sign legal affidavits with this agreement, including a rider to refund money if the terms were violated.

In furtherance, Musk allegedly suggested contributing $100,000 monthly towards their child up to the age of 21. St Clair alleged she refused to sign papers, stating that she did not want her child brought up under secrecy.

Public Backlash and Musk's Response

Following her claims, St Clair was criticized on social media by some of her fans. As a reaction, Elon Musk confirmed he had paid her $2.5 million but remained unsure whether he is the father or not. The monetary offer and its meaning have been the source of much debate.
