AI Jobs See Rise in Recruitment of Freshers
As per a recent report by TeamLease EdTech, an uptick trend in focus towards artificial intelligence (AI) in India's employment market can be observed. It has become even more common for employers to accept the onboarding of freshers for AI-related roles. According to the 'Career Outlook' report, more than 74% of the organizations that were surveyed said they could hire recent graduates between January and June 2025. Figures are based on feedback from 649 employers across the country.
Skills Over Degrees in Recruitment
Trends in jobs are moving away from academic qualifications towards experiential skills. The companies want to recruit employees with skills in data visualization, cloud computing, and robotics. COO, TeamLease EdTech, Jaideep Kewalramani averred that the trend provides new graduates with a good starting point to secure worthwhile innovation-driven jobs in sectors.

- 70% of hiring managers at e-commerce and technology startup companies are hiring freshers.
- 66% of manufacturing firms plan to hire freshers.
- In engineering and infrastructure, this proportion is 62%.
