On March 1, superstar Rajinikanth was spotted at Thiruporur, Chengalpet, Tamil Nadu, at the registrar's office. After buying some land nearby, he went to the office to register it. As word spread of his arrival, fans flocked in droves to catch a peek of him. He has been filming for his next movie, "Vettaiyan," which is helmed by the well-known "Jai Bhim" director TJ Gnanavel.
When Thalaivar came, she waved to the people gathered outside the registrar's office while wearing a clean white kurta and pyjamas. He smiled as he greeted them and even snapped a selfie with an elderly woman.
According to reports, he bought land near Thiruporur with plans to construct a hospital. It's still unknown, though, if he intends to construct a home or a hospital.
For the previous few months, Rajinikanth has been filming "Vettaiyan," directed by TJ Gnanavel. He recently finished a schedule in Hyderabad and took an economy flight to Chennai. It startled fans to witness a well-known actor engage in fly economy.
By the end of March, "Vettaiyan" filming is anticipated to be completed. With a massive star cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh in key roles, the big-budget entertainment is sure to impress.
Rajinikanth will take a little hiatus after finishing "Vettaiyan" before starting pre-production on filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj's "Thalaivar 171."
Superstar Rajinikanth recently revealed plans to work with Sajid Nadiadwala on a pan-Indian movie. The upcoming months will see the dissemination of information regarding the new movie.
