According to sources who spoke with India Today TV, Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena and Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party (TDP) have decided on a seat-sharing arrangement.

This occurred while the two parties were in negotiations prior to the Andhra Pradesh assembly elections and the Lok Sabha elections.

The agreement was finalised on Friday at midnight.

The agreement states that of the 24 Lok Sabha seats available, the Jana Sena and BJP are expected to win close to eight seats.

According to sources, the two parties are expected to secure 28–32 seats in the Andhra Pradesh parliament.

They said that the TDP would win the remaining assembly seats.

There are 175 Assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to reporters in Vijayawada, TDP senior leader Kinjarapu Atchannaidu claimed that Chandrababu Naidu had come to Delhi at the invitation of BJP leaders.

"Preliminary discussions are over," he stated, before stating, "The TDP, BJP, and the Jana Sena decided to contest the elections together."

Chandrababu will discuss who should run for how many seats with BJP leaders soon. On the subject of seats, an announcement will be made later," he continued.

Senior TDP politician and Rajya Sabha MP K Ravindra Kumar stated on Friday that his party, the BJP, and the Jana Sena have agreed in principle to cooperate for the next elections, and the details are still being worked out.

The BJP leader JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu held talks the day before. Kumar told news agency PTI that initial talks had taken place for the "purpose of an alliance" for the Lok Sabha and state assembly polls, which are held simultaneously in Andhra Pradesh.

The actor and head of the Jana Sena, Pawan Kalyan, participated in the discussions that lasted over an hour and a half at Shah's home here on Thursday night.
