Welcoming the construction of a Power Substation with a foundation stone ceremony, Telangana's Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that welfare schemes in the State would not be deflected from their course. He said it was because the government was interested in implementing promises made during election campaigns.
Bhatti Vikramarka participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony for power substations in Geesukonda mandal of the Parakala constituency, Warangal district. The ₹9 crore worth of project is a symbol of the government's commitment to providing good infrastructure.
Reaffirmation of the Welfare Scheme
Speaking at a public meeting in Geesukonda, Bhatti Vikramarka said:
- The government will not deter despite their financial crisis.
- Their welfare schemes will continue with no cuts or delays.
- The government has filled 56,000 government jobs and has held Group-1 examinations months after the formation of the government.
- From January 26, Rythu Bharosa funds will be credited to farmers' accounts.
Rebutting Opposition
He accused opposition parties of giving false information, asking people and party workers not to get deceived. "The government will respect all electoral promises. Workers should see that schemes reach the grassroots," he said.
