In a bid to control the massive flow of passengers during the Sankranti festival, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has decided to run special services that will carry additional buses. The special services will be in place between January 8 and 13 as APSRTC is targeting the inter-state traveling passengers besides those who wish to visit destinations in Telangana.
Special Bus Timings and Routes
- Hyderabad: 2,153 buses to different places.
- From Bangalore: 375 buses.
- From Vijayawada: 300
For return journey, APSRTC will run 3,200 special buses from January 16 to 20
Fare Details and concession
- No Surcharge: The passengers will pay the normal fare for the special buses.
- Coupon Discount: 10% discount on tickets booked through APSRTC Online Booking for the onward and return journey at a single time.
Advance Ticketing and Passenger Convenience
- Advance Ticket Booking: APSRTC is also offering facilities for advance booking of tickets by special buses, which would make service easy and convenient.
- Safe and Comfortable Travel: All arrangements have been made so that at each place, travel is without disturbances.
