Delhi CM Oath-Taking: 50 Film Stars, Industrialists To Attend Grand Ceremony

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has triumphed in the Delhi Assembly elections and has fulfilled its 26-year-old dream. With this win, the party will establish a new government in the national capital. In view of this historic event, grand arrangements are being made for the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister. It is reported that numerous leading film stars and business tycoons have been invited to the glamorous ceremony.

Swearing-in Ceremony Details

BJP sources confirmed that the swearing-in ceremony of the new Delhi Chief Minister would take place at 4:30 PM on Thursday, February 20. It would occur at Ramlila Maidan, which has witnessed historic political conclaves in the past. There would be a ceremonial function, with cultural performances by renowned artistes prior to the oath-taking ceremony.

VIP Guests and Celebrity Guests

The event will be attended by 50 film stars, top industrialists, foreign ambassadors, chief ministers, deputy chief ministers of 20 states, Union ministers, and senior BJP leaders. Besides this, Delhi farmers and beneficiaries of central government schemes have also been invited.

Special Guests at the Event

Spiritual gurus like Baba Ramdev, Swami Chidananda, and Baba Bageshwar Dhirendra Shastri will attend the ceremony as special guests. Their attendance reflects the entry of the party into various layers of society.

Delhi's Next CM Yet to be Finalized

Although the BJP has emerged victorious in the Delhi Assembly Elections, announced on February 8, by a landslide, the new Chief Minister has not been announced yet. The Chief Ministerial face is no less than Parvesh Verma, who is son of ex-CM Sahib Singh Verma. He has recently defeated Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal in the elections. The BJP legislature party meeting will take place on Wednesday, in which the cabinet ministers and new CM will be finalized.
