
Double Engine Government is bolstered by Central Support
Union Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh is reaping the benefits of a double engine government, which is providing apt coordination between the central and state governments. Addressing a media meet in Guntur, he reiterated that the central government has provided enormous support to AP during the last seven months.
Increased Budgetary Expenditures Due to Chandrababu's Administration
Naidu highlighted that the allocations of Andhra Pradesh have increased in the central budget and attributed this to the efforts of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He highlighted that the previous mistakes in governance meant that there was a financial loss of ₹15,000 crore in the Jal Jeevan Mission, which affected the schemes of water supply in the state.
Centre Expands Jal Jeevan Mission on Request of Chandrababu
Braving these obstacles, the central government has extended the Jal Jeevan Mission for a year at the request of CM Chandrababu Naidu. Rammohan Naidu pointed out that the past mismanagement has now created obstacles in mobilizing additional funds, but the current leadership is attempting to overcome these challenges successfully.
