Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, 73, was admitted to AIIMS Delhi in the early hours of Sunday morning at about 2 AM following complaints of chest pain and uneasiness, sources said.
Medical Condition and Treatment
Dhankhar is being kept under medical observation in the Critical Care Unit (CCU). His treatment is being monitored by Dr. Rajiv Narang, the Director of the Cardiology Department at AIIMS. According to hospital sources, his condition is stable, and a team of dedicated doctors is keeping a close eye on him.
Prime Minister Modi's Visit
In the latter part of the afternoon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to AIIMS to enquire about Dhankhar's health and seek information about his well-being.
