'The Bad Guys 2' is an upcoming American animated heist comedy film loosely based on children's book series The Bad Guys by Aaron Blabey, under the production of DreamWorks Animation and distribution by Universal Pictures. The sequel to The Bad Guys (2022) and the second feature film of The Bad Guys franchise, it is directed by Pierre Perifel and co-directed by JP Sans. Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Awkwafina, Zazie Beetz, Richard Ayoade, Lilly Singh, and Alex Borstein play their reprisals of roles from the previous film, joining new cast additions Danielle Brooks, Maria Bakalova, and Natasha Lyonne. The film finds the Bad Guys forming alliances with a special all-female crime gang and must work to do one more heist before hanging it up for good.

Perifel said that he would love to make a sequel to The Bad Guys in March 2022, prior to the first film's release. Two years after, DreamWorks Animation released a sequel announcement, with Perifel and the voice actors reprising, and Sans acting as co-director. Lyonne was added to the cast in July 2024, with Brooks' and Bakalova's participation announced in November. Daniel Pemberton will score the music, reprising his role from the first film.

'The Bad Guys 2' is due to be released in the United States on August 1, 2025.
