
Satyavardhan, the computer operator of TDP Office, Gannavaram, has faced a new twist in his kidnapping case because, CCTV footages unveil the YSRCP leader and Ex-MLA of Gautam Vallabhaneni Vamsi and also, his friends in action. In the video, the victim is seen being taken to Vamsi's house in Rayadurgam, Hyderabad, sending by road, and later appearing at the court in Vijayawada.
Police are gathering additional evidence to establish Vamsi’s involvement, as the victim’s phone remains missing. So far, 12 people have been named as accused, with five already arrested. Two police teams are actively searching for the remaining suspects, including:
- A2 - Komma Kotlu
- A3 - Bhimavarapu Yathindra Ramakrishna (Telaprolu Ramu)
- A5 - Olupalli Ranga
- A6 - Vajrakumar
- A9 - Erramsetty Ramanjaneyulu
- A11 - Chebrolu Srinu
- A12 - Venu
They turn off the suspects' phones; the police are tracking calls to their family and friends. Once the key suspects such as Ranga, Kotlu, and Ramu are caught, the investigation can be completed. At the same time, Vamsi's detention request will be presented to the court on Monday.
Victim’s Statement Strengthens Police Case
Investigations disclosed that Satyavardhan was convinced by his cousin Vajrakumar to withdraw the case of the TDP office attack. Satyavardhan explained to the police in a detailed way his movements and locations after being abducted.
The police matched the victim’s statements with technical evidence, including CCTV footage. Footage from Vamsi’s Hyderabad home shows his followers escorting Satyavardhan. On the 10th of the month, at 1 PM, they transported him to the Vijayawada city courts complex in two cars. Due to heavy crowds at the SC and ST court on the third floor, they waited in the car until 3:30 PM.
Once the crowd reduced, they sent Satyavardhan to the court to give a statement in their favor. Immediately afterward, they left for Hyderabad, with CCTV cameras recording their return to Vamsi’s house in Rayadurgam at midnight. The next morning, on the 11th at 9:52 AM, footage shows Satyavardhan being taken out of the house in a car.
Increased Security at Vamsi’s Jail Cell
Security measures at the jail have been strengthened around the jail cell where Vamsi has been kept. The number of guards' deployment has been increased, and the contact with other prisoners has been restricted. Precautions are also being taken, especially because the facility houses also violent and drug-related cases inmates. The cell is enclosed with a cloth barrier for the safety.
The chief of YSRCP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has promised to visit Vamsi on Tuesday while he is jailed. After going from Bengaluru to Vijayawada, Jagan will head towards the jail thus to meet him.
