Rae Bareli, India – Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi came down hard on Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a press conference today for postponing the Adani issue on his visit to the United States.
Speaking to youth in the Lalganj region on Friday, on the second day of his visit to his Rae Bareli constituency, Rahul Gandhi once again clarified that the Adani case is national and not personal. He reiterated that corruption and theft allegations against Adani are being investigated in the US.
Rahul Gandhi emphasized that although Modi recently traveled to the US in the company of former US President Donald Trump, the Prime Minister told reporters that the Adani matter was a personal issue and should not be brought up during such gatherings of world leaders. Rahul strongly disagreed, stating that such matters are for the entire nation and cannot be set aside.
Furthermore, he requested Congress workers to start preparing for the next Uttar Pradesh assembly elections to be held in 2027.
